Hi Gerald,

A long shot perhaps but.. are you sure this address rewriting isn't
happening elsewhere, via your MTA? For example, the kind of thing you're
talking about, losing the second subdomain is quite a commonly performed
operation.

For example, in an exim.conf you might see something like,

*@*.realprogrammers.com    $1@realprogrammers.com bctfr
  ^
  |
this drops the subdomain. ($1 is the first '*'). The magic codes at the
end decide when it happens. If you have something similar, considering
removing one of thoses code e.g. the 'f' (check the manual and
experiment :-)
