If you're compiling from a CVS tree for the first time you must run ./bootstrap first. This is not mentioned in INSTALL or any of the README files. I wasted 10 minutes figuring this out. Could someone please add this to the INSTALL document so that nobody else has to waste those same 10 minutes? Thanks, -Dave
