yes.

OK, I finally have it actually checking the flat file if I send the
user@domain combination but not for just user. Not a big deal at all for me
but I am still getting errors this error:

"ERR Everything's Really Bad" What should that be telling me? (other than
that everything is really bad?

I have a file in /etc/mail named as just the user part of the user@domain
combo. I also have the following conf line

mailbox: bsd:/var/mail/$(user) bsd:/var/mail/$(local_part)

and am guessing (somewhat blindly) that "/var/mail/$(local_part)" will
translate to the file named after the user and that "bsd:/var/mail/$(user)"
will look for a file named user@domain.

PLEASE HELP!!!

TIA,

Daryl
