Here is a typical "top":

last pid: 4933; load averages: 0.25, 0.45, 0.54
        10:07:53
203 processes: 202 sleeping, 1 on cpu
CPU states: 11.3% idle, 6.2% user, 7.1% kernel, 75.4% iowait, 0.0% swap
Memory: 2048M real, 581M free, 1331M swap in use, 669M swap free

And a brief output of vmstat 10 (formatting came out terrible):
procs memory page disk faults cpu

This server runs postfix, tpop3d, apache and ldap (used only for
postfix- tpop3d points to another ldap replicated server). The total
number of mail users is around 3,000. This machine also has 4 cpu's (e450).

Thanks again for the quick response!
