Version 1.4.2 patched by http://www.ex-parrot.com/~chris/tpop3d/tpop3d-1.4.2-auth-
flatfile-broken.patch.
Is no more combination for me to proper virt authentication :( I was try all(?) possible
modifications of tpop3d.conf and ./configure... My configfile is:

listen-address: 0.0.0.0:110(my.domain.com)
mailbox: bsd:/var/mail/$(user)
auth-passwd-enable: yes
auth-passwd-mail-group: mail
auth-flatfile-enable: yes
auth-flatfile-passwd-file: /etc/exim/virtpasswd
auth-flatfile-mail-group: mail
auth-flatfile-mail-user: daemon
append-domain: yes

Debug info:
listening on address 0.0.0.0, port 110, domain my.domain.com
2 authentication drivers successfully loaded
net_loop: tpop3d version 1.4.2 successfully started
<...>
authcontext_new_user_pass: began session for `pawel' with passwd; uid 500, gid 12
fork_child: [7]pawel(127.0.0.1): successfully authenticated with passwd
<...>
connection_do: client `[7]127.0.0.1/pavel.lodz.mm.pl': username `test': 1 authentication
failures

The same file with pairs user:pass used with vm-pop3d working good...
Any idea?

PS. Sorry for my english...
