[Iftop-users] latest iftop question

I'm running iftop on ubuntu 16 and it looks like it is running correctly...
However,the display is not using graphic chars and I'm getting lines of "q"
and some "v".
my terminal type is xterm-256color and running from putty 0.71

any ideas on how to get the graphics?
